Are there any keyboard transcriptions of the Augsburg MS by Hagen?
As @mdaillie mentioned in a previous post in the category this sort of music and Hagen included is very idiomatic for lute, with all sorts of effects that would fall flat on a harpsichord, but I think something could be made of them.
I thought I would attempt a transcription from tablature myself, but as far as I can see there is no open source facsimile of this MS anywhere. So the secondary question is, where would one find that? I did find one commercial copy.
I suppose this is more suited to a lute forum, but since I started out with the idea of a harpsichord transcription I suppose I can allow myself this topic on our list.
