Recent issues with the mail side of this forum, after investigation, appear to have been caused by a combination of impact of the major Google outage, and a technical setting I may have been overlooking for some time. According to the system logs, all mail is now being delivered, including to user of iCloud addresses (me.com, icloud.com, mac.com). I shan’t detain you with the details.
All appears to be working again now as far as the email send out is concerned.
I will create a new category for list meta-announcements from now on to avoid cluttering the General topic category.
