I discover that Wolfgang Zuckermann gave a short interview for the Austrian Radio in July 1958. He speaks in German. On it one can hear him playing on an instrument of a sort that I didnt know he made. It has one 8ft rank with leather plectra and a pedal operated “lute stop”. The recording can be heard here.
Thank you, David.
I have had only the privilege to communicate with Wolfgang Zuckermann by letters during his advanced age. This, I appreciate this (German) voice recording. I had a bit of trouble identifying his German Dialekt, other than placing it into northern Germany (north of Frankfurt). But curiosity made me look up Wikipedia: Berlin.
