The current topic on ‘Saying something new’ has gone WAY off topic to an albeit very interesting discussion of organs. Could we please try to start new topics when we stray so far? The problem I have with this is that maybe people think this is facebook where infinitely long random threads all go under one single group concept forever. It is better if you make new topics, because it helps people in the future with searches and browsing. People are not going to think vox humana is under a thread about saying something new. Plus it becomes confusing to reply to the original gist of the topic.
There’s obviously a degree of leeway here, but new topics are cheap to create!
This plea is very much standard from forum administrators through the ages! 
And there is some policy about this in the forum FAQ page.
