On David Hackett’s website, Friends of square pianos, there is a photo gallery with description pf him making a precise copy of an English spinet signed Edward Blunt 1704.
Who is interested in making spinets, can safely add Hackett’s documentation to the classic booklet by John Barnes, “Making a spinet by traditional methods”, which contains many useful instructions on harpsichord making. Of course the most extensive book on the subject is Darryl Martin’s “The art of making a harpsichord”.
