Discourse is not a maiiling list. It’s a web forum. But it does 90% of mailing list functions.
I keep getting complaints from people who don’t seem to read the periodic meta posts I put out about this. Here’s what you need to know, in brief:
Send email to jackrail@jackrail.space to start a topic. It has to go to a Category - all topics must be in a category - and so it goes to General category. You cannot choose the category. If it’s not for General, use the web interface.
The address is not jackrail@jackrail.org. I do not know where people get that idea from. Mail servers will bounce that address.
And by the way, this Forum Meta category does not accept replies. It’s for notices only, not discussions. If there are questions, PM me in the web forum interface.
