Just a quick note to say that my project to write a full featured tuning app is on indefinite hold as I am a Linux/Windows user/developer, and it was with considerable regret that I found out that you can’t develop iOS apps except on Apple hardware/software dev platforms and you have to have an iPhone. I exist completely outside the Apple closed ecosystem and the cost involved in buying Mac computers and phones is outside my affordability. And since most people seem to want iPhones I don’t feel there would be sufficient interest to develop an Android version. as there are quite a few reasonably OK Android tuner apps already.
